9/15/05: Solar Decathlon House to Leave Cal Poly for National Competition

California's only solar-powered house entered in the 2005 Solar Decathlon is being prepared by Cal Poly students and faculty to be transported by truck to Washington, D.C., to participate in the competition on the National Mall. The media is invited to see the Solar Cal Poly team put the finishing touches on the entry.

8/30/05: Solar Decathlon House Taking Shape

Cal Poly's entry in the international 2005 Solar Decathlon competition, the only entry from California, is now taking shape thanks to major support from industry partners donating money, energy-efficient materials and solar-friendly systems.
